Sessions take place once a week in the evening to make it easier for parents to attend after work and daily responsibilities. Each program runs for 6 weeks, allowing time to build connection and consistency.
Topics vary based on the group, but often include stress, emotional-well-being, parenting challenges, communication, breaking cycles, and everyday life experiences. Sessions are guided but allow for real, open conversation.
Parenting Pathways is not therapy or clinical care. It's a supportive, community-based space where parents can connect, learn, and share experiences. While it can be very helpful, this does not replace professional mental health services.
Parenting Pathways is a nonprofit, volunteer- led organization. Our support team is made up of trained volunteers who are passionate about supporting families and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for parents.
We understand that things come up. If you need to cancel before the program begins, please let us know and we can work with you on transferring your spot to a future cohort.
Because spots are limited and held for each participant, we are not able to offer refunds once the program has started,
Sessions are held in a comfortable, community-based setting. Details and location will be shared once your spot is confirmed. We always host in the Grand Rapids area.
To keep the space focused and supportive for parents, sessions are designed for adults only. However, we understand childcare can be a challenge so please reach out and we will see how we can best accommodate you.
